About Course

Three modules of short lessons, each lesson is a focused stand-alone video with slides presented with the basic data, covering Quality Control laboratory (QC lab.) in a pharmaceutical factory focusing on sources of information, sections covering major activities, HPLC instrument (in-brief) and elevating awareness to avoid common mistakes in the lab.

What Will You Learn?

  • Understand the Quality Control (QC) department aspects at a pharmaceutical factory.
  • Be familiar with the key references in QC, globally (at least 3).
  • Navigate through a USP monograph.
  • Know the sections (functions) of the QC department (specially, the 4 essential sections).
  • Connect between stages of QC from raw materials (RM) to finally packed product FPP , systematically.
  • Explain main role of each department in the product cycle.
  • Understand selected basic tests conducted on active pharmaceutical ingredients and products.
  • Enumerate the selected important instruments used in QC laboratory.
  • Appreciate the importance of good laboratory practices (GLP).
  • Avoid some common mistakes in QC laboratory.
